Information you provide directly:

• Name, email address, phone number, mailing address
• Account credentials (username, password)
• Vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN, mileage, condition, photographs, videos, documents)
• Payment information (processed and stored by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
• Contact or authentication data

Information collected automatically:

• Log and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
• Device data (device type, operating system, browser settings)
• Location data (approximate location derived from IP address or submitted zip code)

From third-party sign-in: If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email, and profile information from Google.

We use your information to:

• Provide, deliver, and improve appraisal services
• Process payments and manage orders
• Maintain and authenticate your account
• Send transactional emails (appraisal delivery, status updates, offer notifications)
• Respond to support inquiries
• Protect against fraud and abuse
• Analyze usage trends to improve the platform
• Improve AI valuation accuracy using aggregated, anonymized appraisal data

We share your information only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing · stripe.com/privacy
• Supabase — database and authentication
• OpenAI — AI valuation processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — platform hosting and analytics
• Google — sign-in authentication
• Dealer Partners — when you submit a vehicle through a dealer intake form, that dealer receives your submission data for evaluation purposes only

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.

MRKT uses OpenAI to power vehicle valuation analysis, report generation, and comparable sales processing. Vehicle data and submission information is processed by OpenAI's API in accordance with their data processing agreement. We do not use your personal vehicle data to train OpenAI's models.

To opt out of AI-assisted processing, contact valuations@mrktappraisal.com. Certified tier appraisals include human review by default.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your data from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., financial records).

We protect your data using industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, Supabase Row Level Security, HttpOnly authentication cookies, and scrypt password hashing for dealer accounts. Payment card data is never stored on our servers — Stripe handles all payment security.

No electronic transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never circumvent our security measures.

MRKT is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. For EU/UK users, such transfers are made in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
